Respected Lions Leaders,
Warm greetings!
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation to all of you for electing me as the District Governor for the Lionistic Year 2026–2027 of Lions International District 325 D, Nepal, and for entrusting me with this great responsibility of leadership.
As we honor the glorious legacy of 109 years of Lions International and 55 years of Nepalese Lionism, I deeply feel both the challenge and the golden opportunity before us—to preserve the pride and dignity that this organization has achieved so far and to inspire every Lions leader in our district with a renewed sense of pride and purpose.
A Lions Club is not merely an organization; it is a symbol of selfless service and an unwavering commitment to bringing positive change to the world.
Today, with immense enthusiasm, confidence, and determination among all of you, I feel honored to present my vision, plans, and programs for the upcoming District Governor’s tenure. Our great organization, Lions International, has created an unparalleled history of humanitarian service around the globe. Guided by the spirit of service, leadership, friendship, and humanity, it has become the world’s largest service organization.
We all understand that the success of any organization does not depend only on planning. Effective leadership, a trained team, clear vision, and collective commitment are equally essential for successful implementation.
We are living in an era of transformation. Society’s needs are changing rapidly. The methods of service delivery, leadership styles, membership development strategies, digital management, public relations, youth participation, environmental challenges, disaster management, and healthcare services are continuously evolving. In such circumstances, our district must also become modern, organized, accountable, and result-oriented according to the demands of time.
In this context, the District Governor’s plan will focus on the following five major pillars:
The success of any district depends largely on the efficiency and coordination of its cabinet team. If cabinet officers clearly understand their roles, responsibilities, policies, plans, and implementation processes, the district can achieve remarkable accomplishments.
Therefore, we will embrace the philosophy of "Right Person with Right Knowledge and Right Commitment" and make our training practical, effective, and result-oriented.
We do not merely want to create office bearers; we want to create capable change-makers. We do not want leadership that only conducts meetings; we want leadership that delivers results. We do not seek the prestige of position alone; we seek meaningful impact through service.
Our training programs will not remain limited to theoretical lectures. They will be practical, interactive, and experience-based through group discussions, workshops, case studies, experience sharing, presentations, and leadership exercises.
Leadership today is not merely the process of giving orders; it is the art of inspiring others. Leadership means the ability to move forward together. Leadership is the combination of service, sensitivity, and responsibility.
Therefore, our year-long programs will be based on the concept of Servant Leadership.
We will embrace the spirit of "One District, One Vision, One Strong Team."
A district is not the structure of a few individuals; it is the shared family of all members. Everyone’s contribution is equally valuable here.
A regular Follow-up Evaluation System will also be implemented after training programs to ensure that learning is transformed into practice.
Our district is full of possibilities. We have energy, experience, dedication, and capability. What we need is the right direction, coordination, and active leadership.
If we unite with one common goal, we can achieve historic success at both national and international levels.
Today, the world expects greater accountability, transparency, and impact from service organizations. Therefore, we too must continuously improve ourselves according to changing times.
Leadership is a continuous journey of learning. Those who are willing to learn are the ones who become successful leaders.
Through leadership development programs, we aim to create a Learning District Culture where every leader is encouraged to learn, teach, and transform.
We will put the concept of Training for Transformation into practice. Training will not merely be a process of obtaining certificates; it will be a process of transforming behavior.
Our journey may not always be easy, but it is certainly possible. If we remain united, no goal will be beyond our reach. History is always created by those who dream, plan, and work continuously.
We are moving forward with the vision of building a Milestone District—a district that sets new standards in service, leadership, membership, training, transparency, and social impact.
In this journey, your support, suggestions, experiences, and active cooperation are essential. Together, let us create a tenure that future generations will remember with pride.
Finally, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all Lions members, senior leaders, past governors, club officers, youth leaders, and the entire service family. Your trust and support are our greatest strength.
Let us all come together to create a new history of service, leadership, and humanity.
“Where There is a Need, There is a Lion.”
Thank You.
Long Live Lionism!
“Creating a Milestone through Service, Leadership & Unity.”

The Milestone Philosophy is rooted in the belief that true leadership is not defined by position, but by the positive milestones we create in the lives of people and communities.
A Milestone District is built through visionary leadership, compassionate service, teamwork, and sustainable impact.
Creating a Milestone is an approach that emphasizes prioritizing community service and satisfaction in Lions service delivery. The core idea is to provide timely, effective, and personalized service that builds trust, loyalty, and long-term relationships.
We envision a district where every Lion becomes a catalyst for change, every club becomes stronger and more active, and every service project leaves a lasting legacy.
Our mission is to inspire members to move beyond ordinary achievements and create historic accomplishments in membership growth, leadership development, youth empowerment, humanitarian service, environmental protection, and community transformation.
We serve to transform lives, not for recognition.
Leadership is based on honesty, accountability and dedication.
Collaboration across all differences creates strength.
