आदरणीय लायन साथीहरु,
हार्दिक नमस्कार ।
सम्पूर्ण मानव जातिको कल्याण र सेवामा सर्मपित बिश्वकै सर्वश्रेष्ठ सामाजिक संस्थामा मैले २७ वर्ष अघि सन १९९८ साल देखी लायन्स क्लब अफ काठमाडौं जोरपाटीको सदस्यबाट लायनिज्मको यात्रा शुरु गरेको थिएँ । क्लब प्रेसिडेन्ट, जोन चेयरपर्सन, रिजन चेयरपर्सन, एरिया हुँदै क्याबिनेट ट्रिजरर र तत्पश्चात डिष्ट्रिक्टका बिभिन्न अन्य महत्वपूर्ण जिम्मेवारीमा रहि यस संस्थाको सेवा गर्ने अवसरहरु मलाई प्राप्त भए । अग्रज लायन लिडरज्यूहरु र सम्पूर्ण लायन साथीहरुको साथ, सहयोग, माया र हौसलाले यस लायन वर्ष २०२४–२०२५ मा डिष्ट्रिक्ट गभर्नरमा निर्वाचित गराई डिष्ट्रिक्टको नेतृत्व गर्ने सुअवसर तथा जिम्मेवारी दिनु भएको छ जसका लागी म मेरो ह्रदयको अन्तस्करण देखी हार्दिक आभार सहित कृतज्ञता ब्यक्त गर्न चाहन्छु ।
समाजसेवी मनहरु मिल्नु पर्दछ, सबैलाई समान अवसर, समान व्यवहार र सहकार्यको थालनी गदै यस डिष्ट्रिक्टलाई सबैको साझा घरको रुपमा अघि बढाउने मेरो शतप्रयास रहने प्रतिवद्धता ब्यक्त गर्दछु । हामी लायन्सहरु आफुभन्दा कम क्षमतावान, कम भाग्यशाली, सेवा र सहयोगको आवश्यकता भएका ब्यक्तिहरु प्रति जात, धर्म, लिङ्ग, भुगोल भन्दा माथि उठी निस्वार्थ सेवा भावले जहाँ आवश्यकता त्यहाँ लायन्स भन्ने मूलमन्त्रमा समाहित भई काम गर्नु पर्दछ भन्ने मान्यता राख्दछौं । म मेरो कार्यकालमा हाम्रा यी मान्यताहरुलाई व्यवहारमा उतार्न थप प्रयास गर्ने प्रतिबद्धता ब्यक्त गदै, सामाजिक काममा लाग्न आफुले आफैलाई विश्वास गरौ भन्ने नाराका साथ उभिएको छु । सबै लायन साथीहरु संग मैले यस वर्ष प्रस्तुत गरेका बिषयहरुमा यहाँहरुको साथ सहयोग र सदभावको अपेक्षा सहित आ–आफ्नो जिम्मेवारी अनुसारको काम कर्तब्य निर्वाह गरी दिनुहुन बिनम्र अनुरोध गर्दछु ।
काठमाडौं देखि पूर्वको तेह्थुम सम्म फैलिएको यस डिष्ट्रिक्टको अधिकांश भूभाग हिमाल र पहाडले ओगटेका छन् । गुणस्तरिय शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, पोषणयुक्त खाना र कमजोर आर्थिक अवस्थाको कारण यस क्षेत्रमा थप सेवाका कार्यक्रमहरु आवश्यक रहेको छ । भैपरी आउने प्राकृतिक बिपद्हरुको सामना गर्न भोगौलिक बिकटताका कारण अझ चुनौतिपूर्ण रहेको छ । तसर्थ हामीले गर्ने सेवाका कार्यक्रमहरुलाई थप प्रभावकारी बनाउँदै लक्षित समुह, क्षेत्रहरु निर्धारण गरी सोही अनुसार कार्यक्रम आयोजना गर्न, पूर्व तयारी गर्न र बिषेशतः तत्–तत् स्थानहरुमा लायन्स क्लबहरुको बिस्तार र सदस्यहरुको बृद्धि गरि सेवाका हातहरु बढाउन म यहाँहरु समक्ष हार्दिक आव्हान गर्न चाहन्छु ।
युवाहरुले स्थानियस्तरमा शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, भौतिक सुबिधा, र अवसर नपाउँदा तथा सुनौलो भविष्यको खोजीमा गाउँबाट शहर र शहरबाट बिदेश पलायन हुने क्रम बढ्दो छ । बिदेशिन नसक्ने असक्त, कमजोर आर्थिक भएकाहरु, रोगी, बालबालिका, जेष्ठ नागरिकहरु झन समस्यामा रहेका छन् । बिषेशतः जेष्ठ नागरिकहरुलाई स्वास्थ्य र बालबालिकाहरुलाई शिक्षा मात्र सहज उपलब्ध हुँदा पनि धेरै समस्याहरु हल हुन सक्छन्, तसर्थ आवश्यकताको आधारमा लायन्सका बिभिन्न परियोजनाहरु मार्फत स्थानिय सरकार र सरोकारवालाहरु संग सहकार्य गदै त्यस्ता क्षेत्रहरुमा लायन्सका प्रोजेक्टहरु ल्याई यथोचित थप सेवा र सहयोग गर्न पनि म सबै क्लबहरु तथा लायन्स साथीहरुलाई हार्दिक अनुरोध गर्दछु ।
निराशा र अन्यौलतालाई धैर्यता र आत्मबिश्वासले जित्न सक्नु पर्छ, त्यसको शुरुवात आफैबाट गर्नु पर्छ भन्ने सोचका साथ मैले यस वर्ष अभियानको रुपमा आफैलाई बिश्वास गरौं (Believe in Yourself ) भन्ने थिम अगाडी बढाएको छु । असम्भवलाई सम्भव बनाउन सकिन्छ भन्ने सोचका साथ म स्वयं र यहाँहरु प्रति पनि बिश्वस्त छु । आउनुहोस हामी सबै एकबद्ध भई हातेमालो गरी १०७ वर्षको इतिहास बोकेको हाम्रो यस गरिमामय संस्थालाई थप मजबुत बनाउँदै मानविय सेवामा समर्पित हुन सवैमा हार्दिक अपिल गर्दछु ।

New Clubs & Membership Extension
● New Lions Club Extension: Seed Money support for all the new Clubs Chartered (Rs. 10,000/- and Gong and gavel for a new club inside Kathmandu Valley and Rs. 15,000/- and Gong and gavel for a new club outside Kathmandu Valley.
● New Charter Members: (15 * 20) = 300 Members
● New Members in Existing Club = 4 Members per Active Clubs = (75 Clubs * 5 Mem) = 375 Members
● Invitation to Old Members = 2 Members Per active Clubs = 75 * 2 = 150 Old Members
● Total New Membership Targets = 300 + 375 + 150 = 825 Members

The Fellowship Program aims to foster camaraderie and promote a healthy lifestyle among Lions members through various recreational and sporting events. The planned activities include:
● Cycling for Health Program: A day-long cycling event open to both Lions and non-Lions, promoting health and fitness.
● Changa Chet Program: A competition inviting participation from all clubs and Lions, encouraging engagement and friendly competition.
● Cricket Tournament: A cricket tournament exclusively for Lions, enhancing team spirit and sportsmanship.
● Futsal Tournament: A futsal tournament for clubs within the district, fostering inter-club relationships.
● Nature Walks: Short hiking trips designed for Lions members to build strong bonds while enjoying nature.
These events are intended to strengthen the fellowship among members, promote physical well-being, and enhance the sense of community within the District.
Leadership Development Program
Lions Learning Center : Aim to have 50 members graduate from the Lions Learning Center, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
Workshops, Training, and Seminars: Encourage maximum participation across various programs designed to develop leadership skills and strengthen the organization. The targeted workshops, training, and seminars include:

Marketing & Branding Plan
● Construct Lions Welcome Gate:
We plan to construct a welcome gate at the border area between Kageshwori Manohara Municipality and Gokerneshwor Municipality, specifically at Gokarna Dashakain Dhoka. This initiative will be supported by both municipalities and will serve as a symbol of our presence and commitment to the community.
● Joint Service Activities through Lions Branding:
Health Camp at Salinadi Mela- We will organize a month long health camp during the salinadi mela at Sankhu, which attracts more than 2 million visitors. This event will not only provide essential health services but also showcase our dedication to community welfare.
Temple Cleaning Program at Gokerneshwor Temple- The day after Kushe Aaunshi, when approximately 1 million people visit the Gokarneshwor Temple. We will conduct a temple cleaning program. This activity will involve maximum number of clubs and members, all wearing Lions Service jacket, to demonstrate our unity and enhance our branding. It will also help strengthen our relationships with other social organizations and local government.

Service Involvement: Participation in service activities organized by clubs and the District, with mandatory reporting to the Lions portal.
Club Standing: Maintenance of good standing status for the club.
District Program Participation: Active involvement in district programs such as Cabinet meetings and workshops.
Timely Dues Payment: Adherence to deadlines for international, multiple, and district dues.
Financial Contributions: Prioritization of financial support for LCIF and service activities.
